Ivanhoe wins Night Pennant Final Ivanhoe last night (8 March) won the North Eastern Districts Night Pennant grand final.  Ivanhoe played Eltham Rec in the grand final in ideal conditions on a balmy evening at Darebin.  Lou Beckman was a late withdrawal due to illness and was replaced by in the team by Graeme Bertram.  They won two of the three rinks with Larry's rink easily covering for Peter's.  Bruce had a close game for most of the night but pulled away on the last few ends. The results of rinks were as follows Bruce Latimer, Sean Ingram, Alby Clark and Barry McMillin  14 - 7 Peter Pervaz, Tom Ristic, Neil Ryan, Paul Ristic 11 -19 Larry Stammers, Adam Fisher, Graeme Bertram, John Rose 35-7 Congratulations and well done to all players who participated this year. In particular Barry McMillin for his organisation of the Ivanhoe teams.
