Bendigo Community Bank Cup Day Triples Tournament Twenty four teams competed in this year's 45th running of the Ivanhoe Cup Day Tournament sponsored by the East Ivanhoe and Heidelberg branches of the Bendigo Community Bank.  The event attracted players from around the metropolitan area including, Bundoora, Blackburn, City of Heidelberg, Glenroy, Rosanna, Auburn Melbourne, Mitcham, Keysborough and Kingsbury. The first game of 15 ends was followed by a fantastic luncheon.  After lunch another two games of 14 ends were played with a short break to allow players to watch the Melbourne Cup and check their results in the sweeps. The teams were organised into six sections consisting of 4 teams and completed a round robin to determine section winners.  The section winners then played a series of knockout games to determine the eventual winner.
